5 Different CV styles #2: The Experienced CV
We see a lot of CV’s at thecallsheet.co.uk and while it’s good to have variety, some are definitely better than others.
Here are 5 types of CV’s we commonly see and some key differences depending on what you do, your level of experience and the type of productions you work on. We’re not saying any one of these 5 are better than the other, each has a unique effect.
The Experienced CV (SAMPLE)
This type is quite common in TV factual, light ent and comedy. Drama and Films tend not to include the bullet point details.
- Productions listed in reverse chronology (most recent at the top)
- Contact details prominent
- Details of the Director, Producer and Head of Department (HoD)
- A brief description of the major obstacles and task undertaken
- By this point of “Natalie’s” career, she no longer needs a section for references. Most of the names contained in the CV should effectively be sufficient as referees
