George Cook new Head of IT at Molinare
Molinare is delighted to announce that George Cook has joined their Technology Team as Head of IT, leading the team of IT engineers in support of all the business and post production systems across the Molinare group of companies.
George joins Molinare after several years at Smoke & Mirrors, where he headed up their IT and Engineering team, and served at Pepper Post Production before that.
George brings a wealth of experience to the role, in particular with Autodesk Flame and Dell EMC Isilon systems, which Molinare have installed over recent months in spearheading their 4K and UHD post production pipelines. He and the IT Team will work in close partnership with Molinare’s Chief Engineer, Roy Walker, and the Engineering team as the company rises to the challenge of the increase in demand for high end workflows for Feature Film and Television.
Richard Wilding, Molinare CTO, commented: “I know George very well, having worked with him in the past on collaborative industry R&D projects and I am extremely pleased to welcome him to the company. I am sure that George will prove to be a great asset to the Technology Department and to Molinare as we continue to expand and drive forward in emerging post production technologies.”
George Cook commented:“I’m delighted to join such a prestigious company. Molinare has a fantastic reputation for excellent quality work, being a great workplace and is known as a technical leader in post-production. I look forward to making a valuable contribution alongside the team!”
